Brake pads should be something that you take with you in your pack – especially on longer rides. Sometimes, even if you've checked your bike, the conditions out on the trail might mean that you'll need to replace them after a couple of hours to avoid damaging your rotors. Brake rotors can get damaged if you don't replace your brake pads early enough.
Have you ever had to switch your brake pads on the trailside? Let us know down in the comments.
