The global media debut of Bell’s most advanced road helmet—the Zephyr, recently took place in Switzerland ahead the Eurobike trade show. The media event included two days of road rides through the scenic Swiss countryside. Putting the flagship new road and ‘cross helmet through its paces, top cycling media praised the Zephyr and its key new technologies. Bikeradar.com gave a nod to the new integrated MIPS feature of the helmet that combines the new Float Fit system with the slip plane technology—a totally new engineering approach first brought to market from Bell. Going into detail about another key feature of the Zephyr—its Progressive Layering construction that also combines integrated MIPS—Peloton Magazine proclaimed that the Zephyr is the “best fitting Bell ever.” Men’s Journal included the Zephyr as one of its best new cycling gear products for fall and many more of the nearly dozen global cycling publications in attendance have published stories on our exciting new helmet.
